I have a Mac Mini (Late 2014 model) running Sierra 10.12.6. No OS updates show up when I click on Software Update. How do I update the OS?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and download High Sierra, Mojave, Catalina, or Big Sur through the links provided.
