Use HDD as backup disk in Time Machine after installing new SSD

Hello There,

I installed an SSD (Mac mini (Late 2014) and use it for booting and as primary disk. How can I use the built-in 1TB HDD with Time Machine to do backup please? The HDD does not show up in Time Machine. Please advise if anyone has done this before. Thanks in advance

Mac mini, macOS 11.1
