Big Sur screen saver

I have a new imac and since I upgraded to Big Sur the screensaver doesn't work. I use sliding photos with random photos from my library and nothing works. Is Apple going to post a patch to fix this??

iMac 27″, macOS 11.1

There is nothing wrong with the screen savers in Big Sur, you are assuming the issue is with Big Sur. Please try restarting in Safe Mode and then restarting normally and then retest.

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac

At what point, does the screen saver stall or hang up?

(selecting a mode, a source, loading photos or activating)
