how to update safari for MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2013)

Something is wrong with my Safari on MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2013); I'm not sure how to update it. many web pages shows that the browser is out of date.

Safari is a part of MacOS. To get the most current version you must upgrade the OS.
