Why do I received this iCloud Account locked notification email ? Not sure if it’s a scam or not plz help!

Your iCloud ID has been locked for security reasons I has been receiving mails notification about my iCloud ID has been locked for a security reasons in the past 2 months. But i am still manage to access my iCloud ID. Is this a scam email? How come I keep receiving this kind of email notification? Anyone know about this or face the same issue before? "If you do not respond within 12 hours of this email, your Apple account will be suspended and you will no longer be able to access."

Email from icloud I recieved an email stating that my icloud account is being locked for security reason and i need to unlock it within 12 hours !! is that a hacker or what shall i do ?
