How do i get the Watch to show the step counter on the Watch

I Got the 3 circles but i just want i to show the step counter i sted

but Can i get the step counter to stay there i sted of the 3 rings

Do you mean the workout app?,the watch automatically counts steps every time you move in the activity app.
