My MacBook won’t turn on without charger

My macBook won’t turn without charger. If I do plug it in with a charger it just shuts down right after. Any suggestions?

What is the exact model of your Mac? You can get this information by clicking on the Apple menu and selecting "About This Mac".

Try an SMC Reset.

Run the Apple Diagnostics.

If the computer will not start, you'll need to use another device to get the sub-model from the serial number, Apple's lookup if here and works best for computers made in the last decade or so:

Check Your Service and Support Coverage - Apple Support
