Legit or scam?

I got a call from a 1800 number saying there was suspicious activity on my iCloud account and to not access at sensitive or financial information and to press 1 to talk to apple support. I just hung up. Was this call legitimate or a scam?

Scam. Apple does not make any such calls. They would only call you if you had first called them and requested a call back.
