What cables and adapters do I need to purchase to connect HDMI on my TV to my late Model mid 2013 11 inch MacBook Air so I can watch my Yoga Class from the MacBook Air on my TV Screen? I purchased an HDMI to USB C cord and think it is not one to use as it does not fit so I am returning that. Thanks in Advance.
Your Mac has a Thunderbolt port, which is physically the same as and compatible with mini-DisplayPort. So, you need a mini-DP-to-HDMI adapter (if you already have an HDMI cable) or just a mini-DP-to-HDMI cable.

You need to get MiniDisplay to HDMI adapter to connect to TV which has HDMI port.
So I am returning the cable I bought that is HDMI on one end and mini on the other end ...it does not fit in the Thunderbolt. If I understand you correctly the one you sent me the link to is all i need and that port will fit in my thunderbolt port on the laptop, without need for an adapter....correct.....? thanks in advance
Correct. You'd need the cable I linked, OR the adapter kaz-k linked and an HDMI cable (both ends with HDMI).
