which flash drive to get?
What SPECIFIC flash drive can I buy for my MacBook Pro? I've tried 3 different types, the last being PNY USB 3 Apple Lightning flash drive. NONE of them fit. . Each was verified by a Best Buy employee.

I tried the USB C, it didn’t fit. It made no connection. I had a friend try it on his PC and it showed up.
The USB3.1 by PNY that I’ve viewed could fit my MacBook Pro but it doesn’t appear to be a “dual” to transmit to a regular USB.
???
The PNY you listed has a USB-A and a Lightning connector. You need a USB-C connector or a USB-A flash drive with a USB-C adaptor.
Doesn't fit where? What model/year computer?
hey Bob,
I have the macBook Pro 13" 2019 Thunderbolt 4, 3 port.
So Bob, someone just told me i need the USB 3.1 gen 2.
Does that sound right to you?
FWIW, you need a flash drive with a USB-C connector.
Ah, you must mean a USB-C hyperdrive? I suppose that is a good idea. Plus in the long run (if there is a long run in technology) it can offer different options in transsharing.
