iMovie .mov file not .mp4 file??

My iMovie share>file suddenly started exporting movies as .mov instead of .mp4. What do I do?

Hi, caroline000000,

iMovie exports everything at Mp4/AAC except when you export at Best Quality (pro res), in which case you would get a .mov file that is about 4x larger than the Mp4 file due to the higher bitrate.

Export at High Quality instead of Best Quality (pro res) and you will get an Mp4 file.
