So my space bar on my macbook got stuck, looked online and common theory i saw was dust and it recommended cleaning the sides so i used a paperclip and the key popped out, so I tried to pop it back in and couldn't looked up videos and found out it was kind of common, I know I need to take it in to get it fixed, but I have finals and a paper due this and next week so don't have much time. Was wondering ifthere is a way to designate one of my other keys as a space bar until then? Right now I am typing with no key on my mac which is probably not good and is quite hard to do.

Hi,

Try the Keyboard Viewer.

In System Preferences / Keyboard / Input Sources, select or add your desired keyboard, and check the box for "Show input menu in menu bar." Then click on the input menu icon and scroll down to "Show Keyboard Viewer." That will bring up the virtual keyboard and you can type easily from there.
