Apple CarPlay

I can't connect my iPhone 11 to CarPlay. It keeps saying my phone is not responding. Grateful any help available.

iPhone 11, iOS 14

Are you trying to connect using Bluetooth?

If that's the case, make sure your car supports Car Play over Bluetooth.

You may connect using an USB cable, if available.

Thanks for your reply. I have ordered a new USB cable. I will see how that works out. I have read widely about this but something, probably something obvious, is eluding me. Regards.
