Why is the Time Machine not backing up:
The backup disk needs 220,50 GB for the backup but only 1,82 TB are available. Select a larger backup disk or make the backup smaller by excluding files.

Erase the TM backup disk. You will probably want to obtain at least one additional, redundant Time Machine backup disk before you do that because you never want to be without a backup, even for a short period of time. One and only one backup device does not comprise a robust backup strategy anyway.
Why should I erase the TM backup disk? There is 1,82 TB free and I need 220 GB.

The reason is that you want to create a backup and Time Machine says it requires more space.
I thought 1,82 TB is 1820 GB? I can’t create more space than that. Or is there another reason?
