Why does Apple Music just cycle through the songs in my library on my iphone11

What else are you expecting it to do?

There's the "play" button which plays the songs in the order which they are sorted, and "shuffle" plays them in a random order.

Apple Music: adding playlists songs. Hello! I'm here to ask a question about apple music. When I add a song to a specific playlist I've made, it adds it to the library as well. I turned that function off in the settings app, but it just keeps turning itself back on once I've added a song. It's doing this on both my phone and ipad, and I wanted to know if there's a way I could fix this?
