Can't update my MacBook to Big Sur

im using MacBook Pro mid 2014 model. although it indicated the new Mac OS is compatible to MacBook Pro 2013 and after model, I can't update my MacBook. indicated it is unto date with macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (last check today....) screen print attached.

please advise me on how to solve the issue..

My Mac won't update. I'm trying to update my 2014 MacBook Pro to either the newest version of Catalina or Big Sur. I just purchased more storage to do this, but nothing happens when I click update on Catalina, and it says "Update not available" when I try to download Big sur.

Problem updating to macOS Big Sur 11.2.3 I have a new MacBook Air for which I am trying to update to macOS Big Sur 11.2.3. The system downloads the software but stalls in the final steps. How do I correct this problem?
