No, you are best served by buying a external display. Your question is asked all the time, particularly now as more and more are working from home and looking for a solution. The cabling alone to connect them (if it was possible) would be at least $60-80, use that money towards buying an external display which you can get for about $100-150 for a decent one.
Ugh. This is so frustrating! I didn't realize the TDM was no longer available. The vcn & screen sharing just isn't the same as using an extended screen... Is there no work-around? It seems pretty silly that there's no hack to get around this since TDM was removed
So is there a way to go around this without target display mode?
Target Display Mode was discontinued almost 6 years ago.
