i am locked out of my 10 xr due to forgot my password

My iphone 10 xr is disabled due to forgotten password, HELP

So iTunes won't ask you to unlock your iPhone when you connect to it. In this way, you can backup locked iPhone with iTunes.

I guess you can reset it like this article suggests and then back it up.
