error while installing macOS big sur

within a second of trying to upgrade to Big Sur, I get an error right away that says error installing. Haven't even gotten to download yet. Anyone else? 2019 16" MacBook Pro

[and] You can try again to complete the installation." I have tried to install at least 30 times, and using a variety of methods [Safe Mode, Recovery, from different sites, and with a new Admin user]. It's always the same. Has anyone experienced the same?

Installing Big sur I get this message when im trying to install Big sur. Help Have a macbook air from 2014. It started first installing, but stoped. "Installation failed, An error occurred while installing the selected updates.".
