new imovie for iPad titles don't work! Help!

When I delete one title on my iMovie edit screen it automatically deletes all three title positions. Since most recent update I can’t work out how to put just ONE title on the screen. It always leave ‘title text here’ up in the other two positions and if I try to clear them it clears the title I want to keep as well! That puts me back to the beginning. I’m stuck. Can anyone help me? I loved iMovie before this update because it was simple and I need things to be simple.

I’m also having this exact problem and it’s super annoying. But what I want to know is, is this a bug? Or is this just some terrible new design flaw?

there also seems to be a problem with iMovie deciding how long titles should be on the screen and disappearing faster than they’ve been set to. Please fix this Apple!!
