AOL Mail App attachments

When composing a new message in AOL Mail on Windows devices, I am given the option to attach a photo OR FILE.

When running the AOL MAIL app on my iPad, it doesn’t give me the option to attach a file. The only options are TAKE PHOTO OR VIDEO or CHOOSE EXISTING. If I select CHOOSE EXISTING, the app only lists my photo album and I can’t change to a different folder to select a file.

Is this a case of pilot error or a missing feature in the app?

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with email attachments on your iPad using iOS Mail.

This article can explain how to insert attachments: Add attachments to an email on iPad.

You can also use share photos to your email directly from your Photos app: Share photos and videos on iPad. You'd be able to use the Share button in various other apps as well like Files or Notes.
