I have a 4K 32g applets running IOS 14 trying to login to my icloud account on appletv and keep getting unable to login error. I have tried entering password alone and it is not accepted and tried entering password with 6 digit verification code from iPhone and separately from iPad and it isn’t accepted.
Iphone and iPad are not running iOS 14 due to being older models. Phone is iPhone 6, iPad is iPad mini 4.
Not sure what to do.

Have you tried restarting the AppleTV?
What about a reset -- Reset or restore your Apple TV to its factory settings - Apple Support?

Thank you that worked. Did a factory reset but did not upgrade appletv to new iOS version when I reset it. Did setup for it manually versus using a device and it connected to iCloud, Game Center and store. I left automatic software updates on and software update overnight and is still working correctly.
