i have been using the new Iphone SE 2020 and the charge has recently been acting up and this is the original that came in the box as when i plug in the charger it’s say ‘this accessory is not supported’ and i’m not understanding why this maybe happening

Well, it sounds like you have a problem with the charger and/or cable. Visit an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center and seek assistance there.
