Thunderbolt to USB
I have a late 2013 iMac it has 2 thunderbolt ports, I think they are thunderbolt1, can I buy a cable or multi port to connect either lightning or 'normal' USB, if so, Where?

A USB hub will be a much, much cheaper solution than
any thing Thunderbolt.
As a matter of fact I just purchased one of these:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SIQIV04/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Depending on your iDevices, it also has two high power
charging ports.

Thank You for your reply it was helpful. I realise there are 4 USB ports, I use one for my time machine, and one for my printer, once a week I connect our two iPads and two iPhones for back up and updates, I just thought as there were 2 unused thunderbolt ports it seemed logical to use them. Thanks again, Steve
The 2013 iMac has 4 USB 3 ports. You can get more USB ports by adding a Thunderbolt 2 dock, but it would be cheaper to just connect a USB hub to one of the iMac's USB ports.
Thank You. It appears this is the way to go, will now look for the unit on Amazon here in the UK. Once again Thank You.
