Annoying voice mails

I am getting voice mails over and over (at least 10 yesterday and they are starting again) saying it's Apple Support advisor and to call (***) ***-8257. The call never rings in but just goes to voice mail. Yesterday I kept trying to block the number but of course they just kept coming in.

Eventually I tried the number and it said this is some type of scam and to ignore it. I am really unsure what to do, but since they say it's Apple support I am messaging you.

Can you assist in any way?

Thank you,

Kim

You are correct. It is a SCAM call attempting to retrieve your Apple ID and Password. Apple Support will never solicit a support call.

Most often you can block the number however then the scammers just use another spoofed number to call the same calling list. Your best bet is to not answer that number. Do not call that number back. You are not going to be able to prevent them from leaving you voicemails however you can patiently delete them and wait for the calls to subside.
