Trouble loading photos on mac Hi, I just got my new macbook air and i have been trying to open my photos app its just shows updating all the time when ever i open it since day 1. As it is my first time using mac i am stuck and cant find a solution.

Turned my MAC off and turned it back on today only it won't open my Photo's Library. It does state.... Updating Library and underneath is says 100% complete but then the Pop Up box states 'The library could not be opened. Photos was unable to open the library "Photos Library". (4301). Why has this suddenly happened and how can I access my photos?

Hold the Option key when launch Photos.app and choose your Default photo library.
