Low data mode

I have turned off low data mode on my iphone but it remains active on my ipad when i use the iphone as hotspot

When using the iPad to access your iPhone hotspot, if you wish to reduce iPad’s data usage, you’ll need to configure low data mode on its active WiFi connection.

On iPad:

Settings > WiFi > [Your WiFi Hotspot] - tap the “i” icon - set Low Data Mode to ON
