Adobe Flash not downloading on Safari14

Safari version 14 does not download Adobe Flash player

Safari 14 no longer supports Flash Player and that’s because Adobe is killing Flash on 12/31/2020. Adobe will no longer develop, update, patch or distribute Flash after that date. Click on the link below to see Adobe’s document on Flash’s EOL (end of life).


Adobe Flash Player EOL General Information Page


Adobe is strongly recommending that users uninstall Flash as soon as possible. Developers have had THREE YEARS notice that this was coming and now it’s here. After 12/31/2020 most browsers will drop support for Flash and Adobe indicates it will start blocking Flash media from playing.


For now, if you really, truly need Flash you might try another browser like Firefox but after the end of this year all bets are off. Sites that still use Flash may stop working... no matter what browser is being used.
