apple music

i have subscribed to apple music on my i phone for £9.99 a month so why am i being charged for every song i purchase .

if this is the case i would like to cancel my apple music account

As a subscriber to Apple Music you have the choice of downloading the songs for offline listening (at no charge, as long as your subscription is active) or of buying a "permanent" copy (usually around USD $1.29 per track). Make sure you understand the difference and are doing the one you want:

Add and download music from Apple Music - Apple Support

Buy music from the iTunes Store - Apple Support
