4k footage becomes jittery once in FCP timeline and after export

Hi I shoot with a DJI Mavic Zoom 2, 4k footage. The footage looks perfectly smooth and everything you'd expect with 4k, this is also true when I'm viewing the footage in the events section of FCP.

However once I put the footage into the timeline on FCP it becomes a little jittery and in some places it almost appears a little bit 'flashy' in high fidelity areas. In other words - its just not right once it lands in the timeline. This is also true after exporting as a master file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't see other ones? That can be a problem. Change the project frame rate. Make a new project at the correct frame rate 29.97 and copy and paste the the clips into it.
