Terminal Input

My terminal misbehaves. Sometimes when I try to delete a character in command line, some other character gets deleted. When I write a character in terminal sometimes it overwrites other characters(which is just beside) and the command I see is not what it runs (some small characters differ which I have changed recently). Anyway to reinstall the terminal??

Hi Gowtham7! Not sure if it’s having a tech issue or not, but know some changes came with Catalina, maybe this can help:

Use zsh as the default shell on your Mac:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208050

Otherwise if the same happens in another user and safe boot, I might Reinstall the OS (Which includes Terminal).

Reinstall Mac OS from Recovery:

Hope it works out!
