That depends partially on why you need it. If it is for the slowdown settlement when you register with the site it has a search option to find eligible devices.

For all other purposes, from the receipt, from the original box, if you synced it to iTunes from iTunes Preferences/Devices - right click on the backup. And if you never deleted it from your account, log in to https://appleid.apple.com and click on the link under the devices.
