I updated my watch a few days ago and now I can't get my watch face to show the date. I've been through the steps shown online and the date is not an option under "complications." I've been through the steps to try and add a complication, but it suggests clicking the green + button, which my watch app (on my phone) doesn't have.
Suggestions?

This worked. Thank you. I had deleted the apple calendar because I use Google calendar. I re-installed it, turned my phone and watch off and back on and it showed up as an option in complications.
Good thing I didn't follow tech support chat's suggestion and unpair/repair my watch. This was much easier.
