iPhone 7 won't update to 14.0.1, error code 4000. Has anyone else had trouble updating?

I finally tried downloading directly to my iPhone 7+ since I had already backed up the phone to my computer.
The first attempt failed, I hit the “retry” button and was finally able get my phone updated.
A less than ideal way to perform this upgrade.
Five attempts failed on the computer plus a failed attempt “over the air”.
