Apple Watch Series 5

After the last update my watch won't display anything unless i tap on the screen even though I have it set to wake screen on wrist raise. What else do i need to do?

Check to see if you have theatre mode or do not disturb turned on in the control centre.

After installing the latest update, My Apple Watch 6 does not come on by raising my wrist. Only by tapping or turning the stem. Also there is an image of a “theater” style happy/sad face above 12:00. After installing the latest update, my Apple Watch 6 will not come on with a rise of my wrist. Only with a tap or by rotating the stem.

Perfect. I must have accidently turned on theatre mode by mistake . Didn't even know i had it. I appreciate the help.
