My @me.com email account blocked my access a few years ago and I never got around to figure out what happened. However I’d love to retrieve as that account was one of my main ones. How can I retrieve and start using it again?

What do you mean by "access it"? Are you able to use it to login to https://appleid.apple.com?
My Apple ID is not blocked, just the email I can’t access. I’d love to know if it is still available and how I could access it
So why can’t I access it or add to my email boxes? Btw I access my Apple ID with another email...
That email is essentially your Apple ID.
