Can’t play “purchased” songs

I’ve purchased albums but can’t seem to play some of the songs. It shows as purchased but it’s grayed out. How do I fix it to where I can download the song again on my devices?

Music unavailable for download I purchased the 5 songs from the Scotty McCreery Christmas album at least a year ago, I removed all my Christmas downloads from my device for the summer. Now when I go to my purchased songs only 4 of the 5 show up. I was able to download the 4. When I search the album in the store, the 4 songs show “play” and 5th song shows “purchased” but I can’t download or play it or even find it in my purchased song list. The missing song is “Christmas In Heaven” by Scotty McCreery.

Purchased Music unavailable to listen to I recently downloaded an album but some songs are grayed out and will not allow me to play them on my iPhone. They show as purchased in the iTunes store, but when I click on the song to play it, it takes me to an advertisement for apple music asking me to sign up to which I have already repeatedly declined. I have apple music turned off in my settings. I'm not interested in it at this time. How do I get the entire album, which I have already paid for, to show as available on my iPhone?

Missing music I have purchased several songs that no longer show in my library. However, I do see the songs in my phone library. When I go to iTunes on my computer and look up the song it says "purchased" but I am unable to download the song. Any ideas how to get the music to reappear on my account? Also, these songs no longer shows on any other family devices.

Sr Rigo,

If you are still using the same Apple ID, are in the same country, and the content is still available, you may be able to redownload fresh copies at no charge. You will have to delete the existing library entries first. Follow the steps in here:
