I can't find the serial number so I can't ask Apple directly, but my watch won't unpair and repair or update so it still says its in 2017 and won't update no matter how long I wait. I'm connected to wifi both my phone and watch is plugged in, and I'm just not sure what to do

On most Watches the serial number is engraved in the watchband channel on the same end of the watch as the digital crown.

I can't find the serial number on the watch itself and it wont let me pair my watch or disconnect and reconnect to my iphone
