Cannot connect to the APP Store

When opening the App Store on my MacMini (Late 2014) High Sierra, I get the message: "Cannot Connect to the Store. An Internet Connection is required."


I have a good internet connection and am using that very connection to access this community. Any Ideas? The message is pretty vague in light of the fact that I do have a connection.
