iPhone Replacement Warranty Claim

Hi,

I want to ask about the replacement of a new unit in warranty claims. My friend bought the iPhone 11 Pro Max, then after a few days the iPhone died completely, then my friend claimed the warranty. After waiting for a long time, the replacement unit came from Thailand. And the IMEI is not recorded on the website of the Ministry of Industry in my country. Can anyone help my friend? Thanks.
