I can't log back into imessage. I keep getting "An error occurred during authentication" I have the right email and password.

Can someone help here...Very frustrated as I am locked out of my imessage on macbook and can't receive imessages.

I tried rebooting and I have the right login details.

When I try to sign in to iMessages with my Apple ID and password, I get an error message saying "Could not sign in to iMessage. The user name or password was incorrect. Try again." Well, both the Apple ID and password WERE in fact correct, and I can use them to sign in anywhere else an Apple ID is required. And curiously, I get a DIFFERENT error message if I enter an incorrect password. In that case, the message says "Verification failed. Your Apple ID or password is incorrect." iMessage Login - Unknown Error Occurred I am trying to use iMessage on my macbook pro. When I click the iMessage icon, it prompts me to login with my Apple ID (which it has never done before). I login with the correct credentials and an error message appears that says, Unknown Error Occurred. Please see the screen shot. iMessage sign in Hi, I can't log in to iMessage on my Macbook Pro. Apple ID and password are correct. The window is constantly loading and the iMessage app is not opening. I tried all 4 suggestions from the apple support web page to solve this problem but it still occurs. I don't know what to do to login

If you can't sign in to your iMessage account or FaceTime on your Mac
