my iMovie app help page is in Chinese. how do I change it to English?

Go to Apple Menu/System Preferences/Language and Region. Add English to the box and move it to the top of the language list if you have other languages in there. That should make English the language for all of your menus.

Well, it was worth a try.


Before reinstalling, you might try deleting preferences since it is so easy to do. Open iMovie while holding down the Option

and Command keys and select to delete preferences in the box that appears. iMovie will open in a new library. Reopen your old library to get back to your projects. Now see if your language option works correctly.
