Can you search a track in a playlist (not whole music library ?

Apple music Can you search for a song within a playlist? I've been on itunes/apple music for over 10 years. If I can't figure out a way to search within a playlist I'm switching to Spotify because I know this is a feature they have. I spent hours making a playlist, and sometimes I cannot remember if I already added a song or not and the only way to verify this is to scroll through the entire playlist for that one song.

Search for a track within a playlist? In the latest version of Itunes/Music, how do I search for a track WITHIN a playlist and not just in the whole library? The only way I can think of is to try an add the track to the playlist.. Is there a way to use the search box?

IOS PLAYLIST SEARCH How do I search WITHIN a playlist in apple music on IOS. I just moved from Spotify to apple music and this is extremely shocking how apple doesn't have the option to search within playlists. If this isn't an option yet this NEEDS to be a primary factor on their next update

Yes. With the playlist open, use View > Show Filter Field. It brings up a new search bar at the upper right.
