How to batch delete photos from iPhone?

I've already transferred them to my desktop and they're just taking up space. How can I delete 290 photos from my phone without clicking on each one individually?

Q: How to delete photos from iPhone in batches For the past decade or so, I use my iPhone for taking photos. I then use Image Capture to transfer them to my MacBook, then Image Capture to delete them off my phone. I refuse to use Photos app or pay for cloud storage, I curate my photos in Finder. The word "delete" is grayed out within the Image Capture app. Looking for other methods to delete en masse photos from my iPhone. db

You can always delete multiple photos and videos at once by going into Photos > Photos > Select.

In case you didn't know, you can slide your finger across a row to select them quickly!
