Phone calls supposedly from Apple

I've received phone calls telling me there has been suspicious activity on my IPhone and I need to talk to a representative about correcting this. I don't know if this is a scam or not. Has someone from Apple been calling or not?

Unknown phone calls I keep getting phone calls from this phone number. They leave voice mails saying “Before using any of the Apple device please contact Apple support advisor press one to connect with Apple support advisor press two to listen to this message again or if you wish to contact us later please call us on our toll-free number ****** thank you” is this a scam or real?
