Very slow and freezing MacBook Pro I have a MacBook Pro mid-2012, it's been getting slower and slower over the past year, freezing all of the time, especially with multiple tabs open. I've tried different quick things- CCleaner, deleted old junk files, moved ALL of my photos to an external hard drive, nothing has helped. Not sure if I need a new computer, more RAM...?? Macbook Pro 2012 Extremely slow My MacBook pro mid 2012 is so slow. It takes like 20 minutes to boot up. Applications take forever to open (especially Microsoft word). Applications freeze all the time. Should I just throw it out or is there anything I can do to improve its performance. Thanks

MacBook Pro 15 Early 2011 running slow and freezing my MacBook Pro running slow, sometimes working normally and sometimes slow like freezing it has a intel HD graphics video card 3000 384 MB, if someone can be help me to fix it . I updated to SSD hard and 8 gb Ram, but still the same problem thank you.

Please determine if the same problems occur in "Safe Mode": Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac.
