how do I get my music to play on iphone? anything that says icloud will not play.. do I need to

iCloud doesn't store your music and isn't designed for that. It depends on where your music is residing. If it's in iTunes, you'll access that app (Music) to play it. Similarly, if you subscribe to Apple Music, you will access the Music app to play. Where is your music?
