this macbook is brand new and it won't let me update garage band, numbers, keynote or pages because they were apparently downloaded using a different apple id when i only have one? does anyone know how i can fix this?

Yeah, I've checked my apple id in system preferences and it all seems to be correct. I even logged out of my apple id, restarted the computer and it's still the same. Whatever the problem was, I managed to find a way around it so it's all good now. Thank you for your help 😊
5 apps that were installed at the factory will not update. I am told that they were installed with a different Apple ID than mine.
I bought this Mac Pro new from the factory.
How can this be fixed so my Apps can be updated?

I suppose you did input wrong Apple ID while you set up your new MacBook Pro.
Did you check System Preferences > Apple ID if it corrects?
the app store won't allow me to update anything?
