Connect a 2019 IMAC to a 2020 Macbook AIr to extend desktops displays?

Is it possible to connect a 2019 IMAC to a 2020 Macbook AIr to extend desktops? I want to use the Macbook Air as a secondary monitor. I am using the Apple .8 meter thunderbolt3 to tb3 cable, but the arrange icons do not show up under system prefs/display on either computer.

Linking a 2011 iMac to 2016 macbook air via thunderbolt cable Hi I am trying to use my iMac as an extended monitor to my MacBook air. It says to go to the arrangement tab in displays, but it isn't in either of the display areas. Any ideas on how this can be fixed?

Can I use a late 2015 iMac as an extended monitor display with a 2017 iMac? I have the two machines connected via thunderbolt 2 (late 2015) to thunderbolt 3 (2017) and when opening the Displays in System Preferences, the arrangement tab does not appear. Do I need a specific cord for this to work?

No, it is not possible as neither of those support Target Display mode Use your iMac as a display with target display mode - Apple Support
