So weird, I've got a new iphone and new MacBook air running the latest versions of the software. I'm constantly getting the message "Not Deliverable" when sending texts from the MacBook using imessages. They go through fine to iphones. What gives?

What gives is that your Mac is not capable of sending SMS messages on its own. It can only send iMessages.
If you have an iPhone, you can connect them and send SMS messages from your Mac.
